Tunio is now in ChatGPT

Tunio is now in ChatGPT

Tunio is published in the ChatGPT app directory. Connect it once and you can run your station right from a chat: ask what's playing, change the weekend schedule, put a playlist together or voice a promo announcement. No dashboard, no menus, no manuals, just plain words.

What you can ask

ChatGPT gets everything the public Tunio API can do: stations, content and music schedules, playlists, jingles and jingle bundles, announcements, text-to-speech, podcasts and air history. A few requests that work right away:

  • "What's playing on my stations right now?" — the current track and what played before it.
  • "Put the Morning playlist on weekdays from 8 to 11." — the assistant finds the playlist and fills in the schedule itself.
  • "Make a 10-second upbeat jingle for my coffee shop about fresh pastries." — the jingle is generated and lands in your library.
  • "Voice an announcement: 20% off everything this Saturday, and play it every hour from 12 to 6 pm." — text, voice and schedule in one request.
  • "Show me what played last night on the mall station." — air history for any period.

The more specific the request, the fewer follow-up questions: name the station, days and times the way you'd tell a colleague.

How to connect

  1. Open Tunio in ChatGPT or search for "Tunio" in the ChatGPT app directory.
  2. Click the connect button and sign in with your Tunio account.
  3. Check the requested access and click Allow.

No developer mode, API keys or settings needed. The full guide, with what each kind of access means, is in the documentation.

Security

When you connect, you choose what to allow: view only (stations, schedules, playlists, air history) or manage as well (changes to schedules, playlists, jingles, announcements and the stream). ChatGPT acts on your behalf, sees only your account and asks you to confirm anything that changes your data. You can revoke access at any time by removing Tunio from your connected apps in ChatGPT.

Tunio works beyond ChatGPT too. The same server connects to Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and any MCP client — the documentation shows how.

Who it's for

  • Venue owners who don't want to learn a dashboard: ask, and the stream changes.
  • Chains that need to push an announcement to several stations or change every schedule at once.
  • Online radio hosts and editors who already keep ChatGPT open and prepare their shows in it.
